The event aims to provide, through examples, the state of the art on the relationship between research on urban form, teaching and architectural design. Urban morphology, for architects, is not an autonomous discipline, only useful for the knowledge of the built space, but a form of finalized knowledge. For this reason, through a series of interventions by scholars of the discipline, we intend to investigate the applications of studies on urban form to urban design and how the rational interpretation of the city can give rise to an evidence based design
